Jason Marx is a fourth generation carpenter who began practicing with his grandfather, father, and brother before graduating high school. After college, Jason began working as a carpenter full time and specialized in all types of carpentry including residential, commercial, and industrial. His work consisted of building and remodeling homes, hotels, and Home Depots. He also participated in commercial work at GM technical center. Jason started working as an adjuster assistant/estimator in the latter part of the last century, helping his father with catastrophic adjusting all of the U.S. using Simsol. At the beginning of this century, Jason began working as an independent insurance adjuster handling daily claims for multiple insurance companies using Marshall Swift Boeckh and Xactimate, scoping and writing countless building estimates. In 2009, he officially became a building estimator for Michigan Fire Claims, Inc. Jason is the fifth of six children and has four children of his own. The eldest born in 1997 and the youngest born in 2015. He spends the spring, summer, and fall gardening, canning, and making jams, jellies, and apple cider. He enjoys camping with his family, paintballing in his free time, and is a novice gamer.
